Bookkeep enables you to integrate your Meadow account to automate journal entry postings.

The two journal entry postings we automate with Meadow are:

1. Sales Summary
2. Cost of Goods Sold

Sales Summary

The Sales Summary journal entry posts to your accounting platform on a daily basis, capturing the sales from the prior day. It includes gross sales down to net sales, encompassing discounts, refunds, and various payment types.

Cost of Goods Sold

The Cost of Goods Sold journal entry captures and posts the cost of goods sold for prior day sales. This represents an increase in Cost of Goods Sold and a reduction of Inventory since items that were sold are removed from inventory and into COGS.
